Garbage Collection

Garbage pick-up for houses within the city limits is on Wednesday of every week. Garbage is collected at mobile home parks on Tuesday of each week. A large dumpster is provided for each residence and must be placed by the curb for garbage to be collected. Other trash, such as limbs, leaves, moving boxes, etc. may be placed by the street for pick-up on Friday or Monday. Old appliances may be placed by the street for pick-up, but they must have doors removed or secured where a child cannot become entrapped in the appliance.

Recycling Collection

Recyclable materials are collected each Monday morning. Recycling bins are provided by the Town for your convenience. Bins must be placed by the street for pick-up. Items to be recycled include corrugated cardboard, glass food and beverage containers, clean aluminum containers, newsprint, and plastics #1 and #2.
